This course will give you the skills you need to provide individual care to older people in home, community, residential or health settings. Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as an aged care worker, aged care activity worker or as a volunteer coordinator in settings supporting older people.

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the aged care sector operating in residential settings, clients’ homes and community based environments. Workers will take responsibility to provide services to people with complex care needs, assist in program development and deliver individualised care.
